Program 5.0 BOX:
To update eForms in this BOX, you must:

Connect the box to an approved ("Condor") AC adapter
-
Connect the box between the printer and computer. It can not be programmed
with out a printer attached as well as the workstation.

The printer must be turned on and ready to print
-
hold down the button on the side of the BOX for 8 seconds or until the light
changes to solid red
-
Send the update from the workstation. If you have only an NETBOX.ALL file,
go to the command prompt and type COPY A:NETBOX.ALL LPT1 /B
-
Light should flash red then return to solid green
Meaning of different light colors and patterns:
-
Solid Green - Ready. Forms loaded, waiting for print jobs or sending print
jobs to printer.
-
Solid Orange - Load. Printer found, forms are being loaded into the printer.
Print jobs will be held.
-
Flashing Orange - Offline. Printer not connected or offline.
-
Solid Red - Update. Ready to accept update.
-
Flashing Red - Updating. Receiving new update.
Other:

Press the button 2 times quickly to initiate loading of the eForms images
to the printer.

Press the button 5 times quickly to get a status page showing what features
are enabled or disabled.

The "C" feature is a periodic download of all forms into the printer. Turn
this on or off with 18 quick presses of the button

made (and sells but also releases code, docs, etc...) for a number of cool
little robotic modules including whiskers, IR proximity detect and remote
control, Sonar proximity detect, PWM, Servo, compass. Most of these use the
little PIC 12C508 controller which costs
basically nothing and is soooo tiny. The 4 servos, 2400 baud serial servo controller
is a wonder of magic and he sells the programmed chip for $8. Wow!
