Editor, assembler, disassembler and simulator w/ virtual component "plugins"
Use the IMPORT function of MPLAB found under
the File menu to import your code as hex. You can then view the ASM listing
in the Program Memory window.
The parser accepts an external text file as it's data base. If the program
doesn't have the chip listed, add your own. It will automatically be included
each time the program starts. It doesn't support 17Cxxx or 16xxxx chips with
checksums. It's free.

Dincer Aydin [dinceraydin at altavista.net] wrote an assembler for the 16F84
browser. (tested on Opera 3.6x, MS Explorer 4.x/5.x, Netscape Navigator 4.x
- including Linux versions). It does not disassemble eeprom data and config
bits. It has colorized HTML output.
"picdis18" by Claudiu Chiculita is a Microchip PIC 18 Disassembler written
in Python. http://www.etc.ugal.ro/cchiculita/software/picdisasm.htm
PICDIS-LITE PIC Disassembler And Hex File Tool reads several different HEX
file formats. From "Joe's Cat". (Linux and Windows versions)
(FIXME: Many simulators also have built-in disassemblers. Should we list
such software here on the "dissassemblers" page, over on the
simulators.htm page, or both? )
