JOB CONTROL COMMANDS DUPLEX / SIMPLEX
DEFINITION
This Command (Ec&l#S) designates either simplex or
duplex printing for duplex printers. The l is
equivalent to a lower case L. Simplex mode prints an
image on only one side of the page. Duplex mode prints
images on both sides of a page.
# = 0 Simplex (The number zero)
# = 1 Duplex, Long Edge Binding (11"edge of paper)
# = 2 Duplex,Short-Edge Binding (8 1/2" edge of
paper)
EXAMPLE
The following is an example of switching from duplex to
simplex within the same job.
