E-Forms installation for Hilton brand hotels System 21 Users

Re-configure System 21 at the workstations to use the standard printer driver.

If any concern arises reguarding the printing of forms, an easy way to tell if the problem is related to electronic forms is to first remove the electronic forms report files and then follow these steps to return to the use of the original printer driver in System 21.

  1. Start System 21 and from the menu bar select Reports / List of reports...
  2. From the menu in the new dialog box, select File / Printer Assignments.
  3. In the dialog box, click on Folio Printer: and pull down the selection list and click on the printer driver previously installed. For laser printers this is the HP LaserJet Series II driver.
  4. Close the dialog

Re-installation

When you are ready to return to electronic forms, simply repeat the e-forms installation steps.

Robotics nuts!

Check out http://users.frii.com/dlc/robotics/projects/botproj.htm from Dennis Clark. This guy ROCKS! He has made (and sells but also releases code, docs, etc...) for a number of cool little robotic modules including whiskers, IR proximity detect and remote control, Sonar proximity detect, PWM, Servo, compass. Most of these use the little PIC 12C508 controller which costs basically nothing and is soooo tiny.
The 4 servos, 2400 baud serial servo controller is a wonder of magic and he sells the programmed chip for $8. Wow!
