Programmers Code Editors

Unlike word processing editors, which insert codes and hints into the documents as they are written, code editors produce clean text files, showing everything in the file and hiding nothing.

VSCode. Written by Microsoft, open sourced, written in JavaScript as an Electron app. Windos, Mac, Linux. Does literally everything. Notetab. Good, really strange scripting language.

AsmEdit 100% Win32 ASM and Open Source! More performance using less resources. Many features for Win32ASM programming but very useable for any text editing. QuickEdit. Win32Asm. Maximum power from minimum size. See? A full editor can fit in a few Kilobytes.
