      • fontmonger by Ares Software. Ares was bought out by Adobe in 1996, and Adobe announced that they would support Fontmonger for only 12 months. They apparently did that and the product has virtually disappeared. When applied to type 1 fonts, does not preserve hinting or kerning, so be careful.
