USING THE EDGE POLYGON COMMAND

The Edge Polygon ( EP ) command outlines any polygon
that is currently in the polygon buffer. This includes
wedges and rectangles defined using the EA , ER , EW ,
RA , RR , and WG commands. EP accesses the data in the
polygon buffer, but does not clear the buffer or change
the data in any way. For more information see the PCL
5 Printer Language Technical Reference Manual.

NOTE: The last polygon drawn is stored
in the polygon buffer. This is
                 where EP finds the information
it needs to edge a polygon.

     IN; Initializes HP-GL/2 mode.

     SP1; Selects pen number 1,
                                   (black). Even though
                                   there is no physical pen,
                                   the SP command must be
                                   used to enable printing.

     PA2000,10; Selects absolute plotting
mode and moves the pen to
                                   (2000,10).

     PM0;PD10,2000,10,10,2000,10;PM1; Enters polygon mode,
                                   stores a pen down
                                   command, stores points
                                   (10,2000), (10,10), and
                                   (2000,10), then closes
                                   the polygon.

     PU610,610;CI500;PM2; While still in polygon
                                   mode, lifts the pen and
                                   moves to (610,610). Draws
                                   a circle with a diameter
                                   of 500 plu, then closes
                                   the current subpolygon
                                   and exits polygon mode.

     EP; Outlines the polygon that
                                   was just stored in the
                                   buffer.

     Ec%0A Enters the PCL mode.

EcE Sends a reset to end the
