Sorry, this thread's old, but I've been meaning to ask a
question.  I looked up "isochronous" because I didn't
know what it meant:  the definition I got was "time-
dependent" (vs. asynchronous and synchronous).  What
makes this a feature?
Is it because you can count on the routine to take the
same number of cycles each time?
