Thread: nospam- how this work?

There are programs that 'harvest' email addresses from newsgroups and web
sites (which includes mail list archives) to generate lists that spammers
use. Adding something like 'nospam' or other word to your email address
makes it invalid. A human reading the newsgroup or mail list wanting to
send you a legitimate message would simply remove the 'nospam' or similar
word from your address.
