Yes and no, the PIC might be too slow to do the whole ADC
conversion and display... But if using a voice coil to
scan Y he could use a simple audio analog circuit to
drive it, and a PIC would be perfect to synchronise the
spinning X motor to an exact speed and sync. :o)
