I'm going to have to add a FAQ at piclist.com for this...

...we get it what? once a week?

The hard drive interface to a PIC hasn't been done, somebody was offering a
prize... (Who was it again?) It has been done with many other processors.
Details at
http://www.piclist.com/../drives.htm
including the FAT format, sample code, and circuits, etc...

The FAQ will also need... ahh....

"No one has been able to decode any MP3 data with a PIC in real time and you
probably can't (also, why would you want to as there are chips that are much
better for this)"

Does that sound like enough?
