I'd suggest you check on this one. Fuel gets better with time, not worse.
Too 'new' fuel has high Sulphur and other impurity contents and that is
BAD. People have to remove those before they use that oil as it eats
engines, trees and other things.
Very very very old oil is better known as coal, the best kind of it there
is. Not all coal is formed like that however.
