Windows 95/NT PIC16x8x Programmer Software

This is the NT version that runs most of the David Tait Type parallel
port programmers.

PicPrg32.EXE Version 1.10

Released August 28, 1998 by Andrew Jarman

Changes:
1) The hardware options now allow rise and fall times to be selected for
the
various hardware pins.  The best way to get things set up on your
hardware
is to measure the rise and fall time using a digital scope and
measure these
values directly.  If you don't have one, play around with the values
until
you get ones that work.  We found that on our test setup, the power
lines
take a long time to fall due to the capacitance our system has on the
power
  rail.

2) Multiple Processor Support.  If you wish to program multiple
processors on
a single board, you can use the MUX0 and MUX1 lines to tell PicPrg to
select
which processor is going to be used next.  Your hardware programming
setup
must use these lines to make the Vpp, Vdd, etc. lines go to the
correct
  device.

3) Single button programming.  You can configure each of the buttons at
the
bottom of the screen to load in a HEX file and program the device.
Use
Options -> Set Locations to configure which HEX file goes with each
PIC.
You can also name each PIC.

4) Removed the 'autodetect' of the LPT port when the program starts.
The
previously selected port was being over-written by the hardware
detect
function.  Now, if you select a certain IO port in the Hardware
configuration
  page, it will stay selected.

Thanks to my colleages Jerry Penner and Rob Diederichs who added the
timing
support.  They have been the driving force for many of these changes.

Many thanks should go to Nigel Goodwin who wrote the original program.
I am
merely maintaining what he has started.

Where do you get it?
