'[OT]: Resume' Tools: MS Word 6 clones / workaroun'

Have a Resume that I need to bash on somewhat, been keeping it on Win
3.x Write in the past - I'm finding that Win95 OSR 2.5's Wordpad just
isn't *near* good enough (No Pagination, no paragraph justification,
both of those nicely present in Win Write!) - Anyone know of a good tool
to use here?

What I'd really like is to find my WinWord 6.0 install disks - Not found
yet.  Or to find a copy of Aldus / Adobe PageMaker and a way to mutate
it's output files into Word 6.0 format (Which is probably an existing
Export function, IIRC.  Used to work at Aldus and am pretty familiar
with PageMaker <G>)

Most recruiting / Job Shop places seem to really prefer WinWord 6 .Doc
format; this could be of use to several other people into PICs as a
career.

Have a copy of Ventura Publisher (v 4.1 for Win 3.x - Old).  So if that
can export to .Doc format, maybe, I think it won't though.  Maybe I can
find my WinWord 6 install disks, too.

Linux equivalent tools would be fine far as I'm concerned - Don't have a
running linux box right now but DO have Mandrake 7.0 & 7.1, EasyLinux,
Slackware, and about 10 more different install CD sets so I figure I can
get one going in short order.

Have the computer room halfway put back together - It's going to be NICE
when finished!  <G>  Big rack to fit systems on top of, bookshelf, nice
desk to work on underneath - Going to do the same on the other side of
the room soon, first things first though.

Give Abiword a try then.  http://www.abiword.org/

Or if you are running Debian GNU/Linux ... all you have to do is type

# apt-get install abiword

... so much easier than Mandrake and Red Hat's packaging programs.
