I'm guessing you have some kind of data logging app
and you wish to read the data medium on a PC.
Have you considered Toshiba Smart Media cards?
Non-volatile, about the size of a stamp,
and come in 2,4 or 8Mbytes (so far).
Used in some digital cameras for instance.
My local camera shop quoted about 10 UKP per Mbyte.
Other PIC projects might consider this as an alternative
to hooking up floppy drives etc to PICs.
Dr Pei An in Electronics & Wireless World described
how a PC could read them from a printer port,
with the help of a few 8-bit latches/buffers.

Has anyone used an Iomega Clik drive? It looks ideal for
a PIC logging application. (40MB, serial access) http://iomega.com
I haven't been able to get an OEM price out of Iomega
though...
