Has anyone received the Microchip "Fun Kit" that we all (oh, you missed
it?) signed up for at the Embedded Systems Conference back in October?

You mean the 12C50x sample kit? Nope. I complained at WesCon (about a
month after ESC), and they said "demand was highed than expected."

It was a plastic bag of parts, with a 12c508(?), pushbuttons, a mosfet,
some assorted parts, stapled together with a piece of cardboard.
They had assembled ones doing "simulated spin cycle" on DC motors.
