I'm trying to use a program wich works on 16C64 in the 16C74. But with
16C74A nothing works.
I'm using PICSTART-16C to Program the 16C74A (erasable version).

I work with MPLAB and I did:

* select the correct processor in MPS16C
* include in the asm file: LIST p=16C74A

What is wrong??

Thanks,
Cabral

Cabral, have you included code to configure the A/D pins
of the 'C74 as digital I/O?

Remember that these pins power-up in the analogue mode.

It's hard to say, since you don't really explain what "nothing
works" means, but here's one guess:

The 16C74A's Port-A and Port-E pins default to ANALOG INPUTS on
power-up.  If you want them to work like the 16C64's digital
inputs, you need to configure them by writing the proper value
   (6) to ADCON1.
