       Hi,

Is my understanding correct? Or am I unable to
output a frequency to a prot bit, based on an interger divisor of clock/
4
from the timer by just setting up some registers?

I've been looking at this for a day or so, and it seems that
if I want to have a frequency output from the timer than there is
no way to program a port for "rollover" of the counter.

Hopefully I'm missing something here, but maybe not.
       Help?

               Thanks
       Brad Mitchell

Brad:

Sorry... You can't do that with any of the 16C5x parts.  If you use a
16C58, your software will have to manually poll the RTCC/TMR0 register
and toggle the port pin whenever it sees a rollover.
