'fixed point multiply'

To all,
I would be greatly appreciative to anyone that can give me
assistance/guidance with my present problem. I need to display the
corresponding voltage from a 16 bit, bipolar conversion (+/- 10V). I
have glanced at the Microchip app notes, but have no clue where to
start. The floating point routines are a bit overwhelming. Any help or
suggestions would be greatly appreciated (as usuall).
Sincerely,
Aaron Hickman

As I can understand, your are searching for a "word to BCD" (or ASCII)
conversion. Search again the appnotes, this time look for BCD conversion
routines.
