Has anyone used a PIC or other processor to emulate the DRIVE side of
a standard PC floppy or IDE interface?  So that you could (for example)
connect a bunch of flash memory so that it looked like a bootable disk?

I was working on something similiar to this already. They have disk adapters
for flash ram already, but I *think* they have them where you can use a
32meg flash card and it acts like a 32meg floppy, only lots faster.

Its definitely possible, but I wonder how much of a pain its going to be to
get the feedback to the drive controller the way it wants it.
