Does anyone know where i can find a good basic interperter for PIC proc.
Not the BASCO interperter from Sistudio because you have to buy something from
them
first before you can download the basic interperter.

it aint an interpreter, it compiler :)

I have full sources of Tiny Basic compiler that I could place to public
access but that project by James Cleverdon was never finished, and I did
also not have to fix it. Current version is still buggy. :(

If somebody has interest to test out and possible fix, then I could upload
the source code. it is flex/yacc/C and compiles for Linux and/or DJGPP

there is also one interpreter project that waits to be revelead, but this
is not Basic, more C-like :)

Well, there is the BS/4 'Stamp One Compatible Interpreter' that you burn
into an 84 chip.

It uses the 64 data EEPROM locations for tokens. This is only 1/4 the
size of the program space of the original stamp of 256 tokens. That's
why it's called a BS/4.

But then, this is from Sistudios also and you have to buy something from
them or their distributors in order to join the SiClub.

As this amounts to maybe $20USD worth of PIC Proto boards on a SimmStick
platform, I didn't want the group to think that they needed to spend a
lot of money for this service.

Hi!

I'd like to have that BASIC compiler James Cleverdon was working on...
could you send it, or show me where to get it?

Thanks in advance...
