'URL for Keypad Project Files'

Dear PICsters,
Andy Stephenson has graciously offered to place the files for
the Keypad Project on his web site:

http://www.asamicros.com/Pub/ProjectSource/kpaddxf.zip

http://www.asamicros.com/Pub/ProjectSource/kpaddwg.zip

http://www.asamicros.com/Pub/ProjectSource/kpadasm.zip

Anyone else who is interested in these files is welcome to
copy them from this site either for their own personal
use, or to place them on their own website. I think that
it is always useful to have an assortment of working
projects available for others to look at for ideas.

I am sorry that responses to my original posting may have
inconvenienced others due to the inclusion of the entire
original text.

A lot of this excess traffic on the List can be circumvented
by sending personal replies to posts, instead of just
sending replies back to the List. I know that we all make the
mistake of hitting the enter key sometimes before we check
to see *who* the recipient of our reply is, but it is a
good habit to send personal replies when the reply is only
meant for one person.

Trying not to eat up *too* much bandwidth,
Fr. Tom McGahee

I've put together a version of Tom's keypad project here:

http://www.man.ac.uk/~mbhstdj/files/keypad.zip
ftp://ftp.mcc.ac.uk/pub/micro-controllers/PIC/keypad.zip

Here's the README file:

              Tom McGahee's PIC16C84 Keypad Project
              =====================================

Files:

mcgahee.txt     Tom's description as sent to the PICLIST
pcb.png         PCB layout looking at copper
pcbrev.png      PCB layout looking from above
 overlay.png     PCB with component overlay
 circuit.png     Schematic
 keypad.asm      MPASM compatible assembler source

The PNG images were extracted from Fr. Tom's DXF file which I grabbed
from Andy Stephenson's site:

http://www.asamicros.com/Pub/ProjectSource/kpaddxf.zip

If you haven't come across it before, the PNG format is fast becoming
a replacement for the more common GIF format; Windows users can use an
excellent freeware program by Irfan Skiljan to convert PNG images into
other image formats:
