Dear Eduardo Rivera
As you know,I am Iranian
However,i can speak english and i also can trans late many english
words,pherases,
exppressions, but you should accept that most of them are unknown for
me,because
it is our second language and naturally nobody is able to underestand
slang.
It is true that you don`t know our slang even if you can speak Farsi
fluently.
Instead of using impoliet expression which you wrote me, you could helpe
me
TRUTH FULLY,as the other citizen did.
For example you could wrote me,what "wanna"means and so on.
With the best wishes sincerely your
Ali R.Tahery

Ali,
After looking at the multi-level replies to your original question, it
appears that Eduardo was was not reponding to you. I think that he was
responding to someone (Matt K) who responded to a Spice Girls joke that
*I* had made.

If it makes anyone feel any better, this probably left a good fraction of
the americans confused as well - at least, I had no idea what they were
talking about...

(Somehow, I don't think "The Spice Girls" are experts in computer
simulations of analog circuitry OR starship pilots...)

It took me a couple seconds to get the joke, but I was pretty amused
<G> Hey, I need humor, badly. Even if it's OT (This almost wasn't),
weird (This definitely was!), slangy, and involves "The Spice Girls",
it's OK <G> Pic-Y Spice made it on topic, right? <G>
Definitely wasn't an attack on you, Ali. Engineers get pretty crazed
& their minds start to really wander after those 4-day "must get this
done" PIC work sessions, and -my- mind at least goes pretty far afield
<G> I'm in good company there <VBG>

But they have PIC right in the middle of their group name, and as part of
their individual names (cinnamon sPICe, etc.).

Respectfully, you should be carefull at not letting your comments go to
the list and check for the recipient. It probably hurts more than it
helps.
Best greetings.
