 Well, there's one I discovered about the 5th - one *I* created,
embarassingly... I download, unpack, and process a number of database
files on a daily basis. Nowhere in the body of the data is the date for
which the files are valid (not my making!), but only in the name of the
zipped package: xxx0105.exe In order to have the date available to the
report programs, I create a Date.dbf file upon unpacking the .exe Since I
had the month and day in the name, I just appended the - 2 digit - year to
make the stored date. As soon as I went back to run a report on some old
data, from December, I Y2K'ed myself...
