'Serial Y2K Compatible RTC'
I have often heard Dallas's series of serial Real Time Clocks recommended
here,and I now have need to use an RTC in a project that I am working on.
However, I am having trouble finding a serial RTC which is also Y2K
compatible! It seems that all of Dallas's Y2K-compatible clocks are
Yes, I know I could compensate for this in my PIC, but it would be a kludge
compared to just getting one which does it by default.
If anyone can help me find a serial RTC which is Y2K compatible, I'd
greatly appreceiate it. I am especially looking for a module which has
built-in xtal and battery.

I'm using ST Microelectronics M41T11, which has a century bit. Its
I2C. You have to add your own watch battery and crystal, but power
switching is internal.
