I'm having some difficulties with serial communication on a 16C77 based system.

I'm using 9600 baud, BGRH set on a 20Mhz JW part. The production version is
a OTP part. The receive routine is interrupt driven with a 80 byte buffer.

The receive routine appears to be functioning, except that I'm often
getting a bad character. The status is not indicating framing or overrun
errors. It appears that the sampling is off a bit, an expected 0x36 was
received as 0x66 (expected '3', got 'f').

I'm going to check to see what I remember about the BGRH bit and serial
problems, but if any one has any suggestions, I'd be interested....

I don't believe that the 16C77 was ever affected by the BGRH silicon
bug.  It was only a problem on the 16C7x and 16C7xA.

It's a giant OOPs on my part. My buffer is in Bank 1 and I forgot to allow
for the W register save on interrupt. I believe the errors were the result
of W being stored in my buffer. I noticed a pattern based on when the error
was occuring and in checking, I found this goof.

Sorry to have posted the message - operator error!
