Hello!

I wonder if any of you have a routine for scanning a keyboard (10 keys).
Or if you have any ideas how I should make one. It's for the PIC16F84.
I'm a student in  Electronics and Computer at a high school in Goteborg,
Sweden.
I would be very hppy if someone could help me!

You will find an example with our UMPS software, this describe
ASM program and connection for 16C54, but can be translated without
any problem for 16C84.
UMPS demo is available from:

Maybe you should take a good look at aplication note AN529 from Microchip.
The example int his AN is for the 16C5x (Source Code for 16C57) but it
should be easy to adapt it to the 16F84. I have a project in mind that
includes adapting the whole AN to the 16F84.

You can find this (and a lot of interesting things) in their Web site
HomePage:       http://www.microchip.com
Appl. Notes:    http://www.microchip.com/10/Appnote/index.htm
