I know this should be sent to Tony.Nixon direct but you may be intrested in
the reply.
Tony please how about details of RomZap.exe ie: what does the edit port do?.
can you program the romboot from a PC without a Programmer?.

The Edit Port function allows you to create port and tris instructions
that will be executed when the boot code executes. This makes sure that
the ports are initialized properly for a particular project so no damage
will occur at power up. You don't need to do it this way if you choose
not to.
You can see how the boot code looks after any modification by pressing
the View button in the Boot Code Window.
