Just forget about it!
Even if you can do all the functions with a 555 ( Good Luck ! :) ) it
would take thousands of them...

What???? and I was going to impress everyone with my Cray built from relay
I don't hear many people talk about relay ladder logic these days. Lot's
of people don't even know what relay ladder logic is. I can remember
converting RLL to RTL.

You don't work in a manufacturing environment, do you? PLCs are
programmed with ladder logic. I have been working with PLCs for over 12
years now. Industrial PCs are replacing PLCs in some applications, though.
