Has anybody used the Radiometrix RF modules?

http://www.radiometrix.co.uk

In particular, I'm interested in experience with the SLIRX and TXM modules.

Yes, the 443mhz units.

The sensitivity and selectivity of the rx is well
within the published spec's (similar to a good dual conversion
communications reciever) The selectivity impressted me the most,
If I remember correctly it was over 65db down at =/- 1mhz

I have not tested them at a fast data rate though.

With the 10mw tx I have had 5Kms line of sight using 1/2 wave dipole's

Andy,

I am using these in a logging project. I am right in the middle of it now
but have programmed the units and all looks fine. I am using the RPC-BIM
units at 433.33MHz. I started this some time ago and would now use a
transceiver from Pan Atlantic at 900MHz if I had to make a choice again.
This is FCC approved and gives good range and data throughput to 9600 baud.
It also has direct rs232 input.

I am using a 16C73 in one case and a 16C74 in another. They do take 9 lines
to drive them whereas the Pan Atlantic only requires the two lines (rs232 in
and out).

all the best,

Yes I have! What exactly do you want to know?

Anything you have to offer - weird traits, how well it works, things like
that.
