'RC oscillator concerns?'

I'm working on my first PIC project.  From the samples in the Parallax
documentation, I've been able to hack out enough to get by.  However,
I can't find any references on the RC oscillator.  Is there a simple
formula for component selection?  Anything else I should be aware of?

Thanks...

I had the same problem with the Parallax documentation.  Here is the table I
found in the Microchip Data Book.

Cext            Rext            Avg Fosc @ 5V, 25'C     +/- %
--------        ----------      -------------------     ------
20pF            3.3k            4.973   Mhz             27
               5k              3.82    Mhz             21
               10k             2.22    Mhz             21
               100k            262.15  Khz             31

100pF           3.3k            1.63    Mhz             13
               5k              1.19    Mhz             13
               10k             684.64  Khz             18
               100k            71.56   Khz             25

300pF           3.3k            660.0   Khz             10
