How do I change the OSC type from XT (default) to HS or RC in PicBasic
Pro for a 16F877? Or does just defining
OSC to 20 do that for me?

   Just wondering,

Hi Aaron
To change the default OSC setting look in  16F877.inc
and change:-

device  pic16F877, xt_osc, wdt_on, pwrt_on, bod_on, lvp_off, cpd_off,
wrt_off, protect_off

TO:-                       !

device  pic16F877, HS_osc, wdt_on, pwrt_on, bod_on, lvp_off, cpd_off,
wrt_off, protect_off

Hi,
I'd advice not to change it *within* PicBasic Pro. So you get the
information XT in your .hex file. However, if loaded into your programming
software *and* before programming, you should be able to change the osc
type (AFAIK all sw should be capable to do it).

I hope this helps.
