Does any body know if there are other PICs with built-in A/D convertors
aside from teh 16c71 ? Also would any body know where can one get
Analog Devices AD620 operational amplifiers. I have tried several
houses (DIGIKEY, NEWARK, etc) but non of them had the chip in stock.
Thanks in advance

There is a new one -- I believe it is MTA14000. It has a 16-bit A to D. I
got the spec. sheet just a couple days ago. It's pretty impressive - lots of
extras.

Hi Paul,
I'm currently looking at the PIC16x74 because it has the A to D. How can
I get the specs for the MTA14000 and is it already in production?
Thanks

I know Analog devices is real short on silicon these days. I have
orders for the AD590 out 23 weeks. Could you substitute the AD part
with a Linear Technology LT1101? (They are not pin compatible)

I called the MicroChip rep. in Dallas. Just call the numbers in the back of
the databooks. I don't think they are in production yet because I was told
that samples wouldn't be available for a while.

What type of resolution is there available with these A/D converters?
Is it only 8 bit?

The following PICs with internal analog circuitry are now available.
16C71 4 A/D channels; 13 I/O; 1K prog; 36 bytes data
16C72 5 A/D channels; 22 I/O; 2k prog; 128 bytes data; 1 CCP; SPI/I2C
16C73 5 A/D channels; 22 I/O; 4k prog; 192 btyes data; 2CCP; SPI/I2C; USART
16C74 8 A/D channels; 22 I/O; 4k prog; 192 btyes data; 2CCP; SPI/I2C; USART
16C620 2 anaolg comparators; 13 I/O; 1/2k prog; 80 bytes data
16C621 2 anaolg comparators; 13 I/O; 1k prog; 80 bytes data
16C622 2 anaolg comparators; 13 I/O; 2k prog; 128 bytes data
PIC14000 (was MTA 14000) 16 bit slope A/D; 2 logdac outputs; temp sensor -
originally targeted as a battery management chip, but is much more versatile.

John,
Could you tell us how much the PIC14000 is selling for?
