Hello, I have run into a message that stated that someone has built some sort of radar / interrogartor based on a PIC (two PICs if I remember well). The message has disappeared meanwhile and I did not get a good look at the URL it gave. Searches gave nothing at all (dejanews and web). If anyone knows something and is willing to part with the information, then please do. thanks you, Peter

I noticed this message as well, and they were talking about patch antennas on the PC board. That was the link. It is a az/el/dme tracking radar for model rocketry (the heavy kind) using an active transponder in the vehicle(s) and with auxiliary remote control / telemetry over the pulse stream at 500 bps. Uses PICs on both sides. Very nice project ! However, I strongly suspect that the author did not pick up his RF skills in hack mode, and it is a rather difficult project imho. thanks, Peter
