I'm building a smart card reader (and i hope writer), but it's not very simple because information about smart card is not much. Fortunately i have found a very interesting book of a spagnol author that show the principles of smart card , how comunicate with a card , how read it how write it , and many other information . However the most interesting part is where the author suggest a PASCAL program to implement a WRU (write-read unit for the card). You need a PC and you have to build a device to interface PC whit card , but this is not very difficult. About interfacing PIC with Smart-Card i want to use this way after have to build WRU : I need time to think about interfacing problems , but smart -card has only one pin for data (I/O pin ) and another for clock (CK pin) so the major part is to implement ISO7816 comunication standard . Salve, su una rivista che ho in dipartimento (electronic design) c'e' un progettino relativo a un lettore di smart card, se le interessa gliene faccio avere una copia. Riguardo al libro che consiglia, puo` darmi qualche indicazione su dove si puo` trovare (biblioteca o libreria) ? La biblioteca centrale e` sempre molto disponibile ad acquistare libri, basta segnalare dove li possono trovare senza troppi problemi.
