Hi Paul, I often find CW id to be less obtrusive to the conversation, and more audible over someone's voice. I did this several months ago for a repeater controller we built here in Akron, Ohio. You are welcome to the code: http://coledd.com/electronics/picsource.html It follows the regulations for ID'ing: 1) Once every 10 minutes, unless: 2) Two consecutive ID's (10 minutes apart) with no traffic occur between them - in which case, the repeater will not ID until someone transmits and brings the repeater up. Then it will ID just after that first transmission has completed. If that first transmission is over a minute in duration, then the ID will happen anyways, on top of the incoming transmission.
