I have loaded the circuit + software for a PIC based
PC fan controller onto my website.

The unit uses a 12c509 to read the internal PC temperature
from a DS1620 digital thermometer. It sends the temperature
as ASCII to a serial port once a second and then uses it
to pulse-width modulate the fan.
