I want to make a digital osciliscope for my pc. I was wondering if
anyone might know know where I can pick up a copy of a timing diagram
and pinout of the PC bus, not PCI,  just the normal bus. I am planning
to us a pic in it, i swear :-)

Try "filipg"'s FAQs.  Sorry, but for some reason I can't get NetScape up
right now, or I'd give you the URL.  Do an alta-vista search on "filipg" and
you should be access to his FAQs.  This is a great resource for the PC
(although you generally have to know what you are doing).

Good luck,

myke

Get a copy of _Interfacing to the IBM Personal Computer by Lewis Eggebrect.
Its published by SAMS, ISBN 0-672-22722-3. It has everything you need to
develop PC plug in boards.

I used the book from the opposite direction - having a PIC control PC
interface cards. :-)

Have fun. - Gary
