Sorry for this OT, but Im trying to remember the name of the old coin-op game
where
you (the player) played as a humanoid in a maze of robots.
You had to get to the maze exit without getting shot by the robots.

Anyone remember the game and the name ?

Thanks,
Darren

There was a game similar to that for the PC called Jump Joe.  I'm still looking

There is a site on the web dedicated to the rpeservation of the old style arcade games. The guy who runs it has these "plugins" you install on your PC and then you actually download the original machine code for the games and your PC emulates the hardware of the game.
I'll try and dig up my bookmark to him, but in the meanwhile, search on arcade games and you'll probably find him quicker than i can.

He had all of the common games, and every person I directed to him came back quite content. Apparently the PC interfaces to the games aren't the best, but he did say he was working on improving them.

Hello!

Search for MAME and Retrocade.  Both are emulators for ALL of the old
coin-op games.  These emulators will require that you get the actual
ROM images for  the game you want. (Usually available on the net)
If you can't find it email me privately and I might be able to help
you out.

Regards
Dave Duley

Robotron 2084 was the most famous of these, but there were others.
No PIC in it, though.  It used a 6809, bit-mapped graphics, and a custom
blitter ASIC.
