The DSUB parallel connector has been mirrored
on the PCB.  The schematic is correct.
Works OK with an adapter cable; or you can put
the connector on the solder side of the board.

Also P2 and P3 should be 10k, not 2k.

I just notified Octavio, but since he may be
celebrating Easter, I'm sending this letter,
in case someone else is scratching his head
a lot.

Happy Easter!

No! there is NO error in the PCB, the mistake is all
mine.  A female connector was used instead of the
male one I expected (which would have made it possible
to plug the programmer directly into the parallel
port of a laptop).

Sorry for any incovenience caused by my silly mistake
and "Besserwisser" mail.

--------------------------------------------------

I can report that the programmer is working 100% OK,
and I definitely recommend it.

There was a couple of software problems, but Octavio
fixed them both within a day or two and mailed the new
software.  Great support, that.

If anyone plans to build the programmer, the schematic,
Windows software and PCB layout (by Jakob Blichfeldt) can be
found at:

I added a power-on/off switch on my card, since the
programming voltages are on while win95 is loading.
