Can anyone recommend a printed circuit board manufacturer house?
The specs for a prototype board that I will need done are the following:

single quantity
4-layer card (including 1 ground plane)
2-oz copper atleast on outer layers
plated through holes
5-10 different drill sizes
no more than 30 holes per square inch
tin plating
1-2 week turnaround
no solder mask
no legend
no electrical testing (cost reasons)
(if it is a good quality board house, this shouldnt be a big deal)
cost: ~$400

I am looking to hear from people with experience using the board house
recommendations they provide. Thanks

Try Chem-Lab in Sugarland, Texas.  I'm not sure of their address or Phone
number
at this time, but if you want to try them out,  I'll look up their number
and address and
pass them on to you.  I have used this house to do boards when I was with
Texas Instruments,
and they do a good job.  High quality, good turnaround and reasonable
prices.  I'll send you their phone number and address in a day or so.  When
you call them, ask for Debra Woodard
and tell her Jim from TI sent you.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Jim

We have used "Imagineering" for the last year, after trying various other fast
turnround companies and getting poor to dreadful service.

I just today received five 17"x11" 2 layer PCBs, at $650 inclusive for four
day turn.
Not sure whether they can reach your price for a single four layer board, but
I do find it easy to recommend them ...
