I don't. I am a big fan of distributed processing. The control system
we sell has at its core 2 processors with up to 20 other processors
around handling hardware specific bits and pieces. It is pretty much
object oriented hardware.

re: multi-processing with PICs

  Actually, you can look at PICs as low-cost, programmable, `glue logic'...
I've been using them as remote (repeater) displays on my weather station
project.
