Am I just dense, or does the Microchip web site not contain the PDF files of the Instruction Set documents: DS30256B PIC16C5X Instruction Set DS30257B PIC14000/PIC16CXXX Instruction Set DS30443B PIC17CXX Instruction Set I think it is a good idea that this information has been taken out of most of the new data sheets and consolidated, but only if the documents are made available! It seems to me that these documents should have links right on the Microcontroller Families page: http://www.microchip2.com/products/micros/ As well as perhaps on the individual family pages: www.microchip2.com/products/micros/base/index.htm www.microchip2.com/products/micros/mid/index.htm http://www.microchip2.com/products/micros/high/index.htm And of course, I'm eagerly awaiting the Instruction Set document for the new 16C16x/17x/18x family! A few months ago I downloaded the 16c54 data sheet from: www.microchip2.com/products/micros/base/index.htm and it contained the instruction set. So, unless they've removed it since then, it should be there. I can't say about the others, but I'd imagine they would also be with the datasheet. --Shane.
