All of the above I now see can be aleviated, use a single file in the
project and build it and I seem to get reliable source tracking in
single step mode. I feel comfotable with and have grown to like the
simulator since I worked that out.

No big problem, they just take up space on 800x600 displays.

Yeah, I would never have looked in there, both together would be nice.
