Post by thread:MPLAB V3.09 PICMASTER problems

Howdie, ye old guru's de PIC's. I have just downloaded the latest and greatest version of MPLAB and I am getting quite fustrated with it. It will not recognize my PICMASTER. The older V3.01 functions flawlessly with the PICMASTER, however the new version will not even recognize that I have one connected. Has anyone else experienced this problem? As always, your help is greatly appreciated. Cody, THis is an easy one to fix. You need to download PMSTR300.EXE from the Microchip Bulletin Board and install it. We changed the way that PICMASTER is installed and handled. Sorry everyone, for the inconvenience. But there should NOT be a change like this in the future.
