Yes, we have implemented Modbus (RTU) on many project with PIC 16C65 and
PIC16C74.

How would you rate the size of the task to program for ModBus?

Is a 40 pin PIC necessary? If yes, why?

Did you use public domain code or write especially yourself?

If yourself, did you use C?

I am trying to determine the degree of difficulty (with or without pike <g>).
