Hi all,

Does anyone get an idea of a web site where I could look for the data
sheet (pin assignment) of some commonly used components (say, the 74
series, etc.)

Thanks in advanced

Regards

John

http://www.chipdir.com/chipdir/chipdir.htm has lots of mirror sites and
does an OK job here!  (The local mirror on amc.com isn't working though,
I should gripe to them about that so they can fix it <G>)

Texas Instruments:
www.ti.com/sc/docs/folders/logic/sn74hct00.html
the above url gives you the 74hct00, change the number
for what you want, and get the datasheet in the middle
of the page, it will directly you to:
www-s.ti.com/sc/psheets/scls062b/scls062b.pdf
I don't know why they don't name it 74hct00.pdf...

Hi all,

Here are some other links (besides those already posted):

Data book shelf:
www.crhc.uiuc.edu/~dburke/databookshelf.html
This is a huge list of direct links to manufacturers' *datasheet*
pages. Useful when searching for a specific manufacturer IC.

QuestLink:
http://www.questlink.com/
Search engine for datasheets and application notes of many
manufacturers.

Global semiconductor datasheet library:
http://www.semi.com.tw/
IC search, about 45000 datasheets are stored on this site.

SemiDex, Inc. Memory and IC Database:
http://www.semidex.com/home.html
Parametric search on more than 100000 ICs.

GIICM:
http://www.xs4all.nl/~falstaff/giicm.html
www.repairfaq.org/cgi-bin/filipg/giicm_form.html
(It's a lot of time I don't check them, so these links may have changed)
Brief description and ASCII pinout of the most common ICs (40xx, 74xx..)

Last, but not least, a huge list of links to companies, organizations,
publications etc.. in the electronic engineering and computer science
field can be found here (EE/CS mother site):
http://www-ee.stanford.edu/soe/ieee/eesites.html

Hope this helps,
Adriano
