On semiconductor (http://www.onsemi.com)
MTP12P10 100V/12A Rds(on) = 0.3 ohms

I was going to let this go... but... Where have you been searching for hours on the web?
I went over to Onsemi's site, less than a minute with thier parametric part finder. O.k maybe I was just lucky, so I head over to Fairchild's site, several parts there too... Maybe you were looking for a stocking distributor so I head over to Digikey, two pages, at least a dozen of which are in stock. ?!???!?

Thanks, Denny.
I just put P-Channel MOSFET in the search box. I got to ON and scrolled
down but did not see the part. This computer is very slow. My fast
computer is down.

Digikey's parametric search went pretty quick too...

Thank you, Bill.
My regular computer is down and the old Laptop I am using takes MINUTES just
to get to a site. I need to get a fan for my regular computer because it
will shut down upon start up and I don't want to override it and burn up the
CPU. The little screen is also hard to read so I missed the P-Channel RoHS
stuff. Denny Ester sent a part number also. I was just getting plain
frustrated. But I really appreciate the reply. I will not receive the fan
for a few more days so I will have to get patient.
Regards
Rich

Go to http://www.digikey.com and key in
mosfet p-channel 100v
and you'll get a selector guide that allows you to subset from there.
Miss out the 100v and you get a wider range
