Hello everone,

To let my 16c74 communicate with my "jupiter" gps receiver in binairy
format i need to calculate a checksum. With the following mathematics



               ^16  _ 4
 SUM = MODULA 2     \  Word (i)
                    /
                    - i=1

 if sum = -32768 -> checksum = sum
 else checksum = -sum


Is there someone in who has an routine available for it in C or
assembly ?
