hi,

It's better if you build your project with MC145447 (CNID IC) and display
the result to small LCD 16x2 than you make scanning display with LED
Matrix, because it has more difficulties.

Lauw,

You kind of missed the original reason for the LED display: he wanted to be
able to see the display without glasses and presumably in the dark too...
